Flow metering

Liquid flow-rate measurement provides essential information for all kind of processes, from power plant machinery tuning to distribution network losses quantification. Accuracy and repeatability of the measurement are key factors, enabling important energy and money savings for the associated businesses.

Metflow UVP instruments has been used since the early 90ies to improve available techniques, showing promising results passing below the symbolic 1% accuracy, with excellent repeatability. Other remarkable advantages applying UVP method to flow metering are its adaptation to changing flow conditions and boundaries, plus the absence of calibration. Metflow has been active in the flow metering business for more than one decade, in partnership with an active player in the field.
