In transport activities, the study of liquid flows is obviously related to marine vehicles design and optimization of their displacement, but also connects to motor design and related infrastructure development, such as tunnels, bridges and road network.

Here, the capability of our Ultrasonic Velocity Profilers to probe confined space, to measure through the walls of closed liquid circuits or flows of opaque nature presents a great value for all related industries. A special miniaturized version of our UVP instrument has been tailor made to be transported in a rocket and brought to the International Space Station, for research activities in micro gravity. This is one of our first remarkable achievement at the turn of the past century.

Typical applications

Maritime, railway, car, aerospace, engine design, drag reduction, navigation
